The film is directed by Rajesh Pillai and produced by Dinesh Chawla, Sunil Bohra & T-Series. This film is an official remake of the 2011 Bollywood movie Shootout at Wadala, starring Ajay Devgn, Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar, which was also produced by Dinesh Chawla, Sunil Bohra and T-Series. The film released on 14 February 2014. This movie was also a remake of Indian Tamil film Pithamagan.
Plot
In the city, Gangster Sultan (Anil Kapoor) and his gang engage in drug trade, extortion, and violence. Sultan has a rival, the local don; the latter is known as Don Prem (Mohan Sherry). Sultan fears that Don Prem is spreading his word of intimidation in a bid to become Sultan's boss. Angered by Don Prem's brother's attempt to murder him in the past, Sultan orders the local don's men to kill Don Prem. Due to constant threats, Don Prem is forced to relocate his family to Mumbai. In Mumbai, he starts a new life for his family.
Don Prem's teenage daughter is in love with the son of a business tycoon. The couple gets married and the boy's father reveals to Don Prem that he knows about the drug racket he was running in his city.
The business tycoon reveals to Don Prem that his son will soon be on their way. After the bride leaves for her new house, Don Prem is visited by Sultan's men to provide the information they need for the deal. To save his son and daughter, Don Prem agrees to give a few of his associates in the drug trade information to them and reluctantly agrees to work with the local don and his gang.
The time has come for the son to be on his way. On the day of the wedding, Don Prem, along with other gangsters, is on the receiving end of a shootout between the local don's men and Sultan's men. The son is nowhere to be found, but the local don is apparently shot. After the shootout, the local don's men are taken into custody.
The boy's girlfriend gets a call from the police station where she is told that her lover has been kidnapped. She is found in a flimsy condition and her friend is found dead. At this juncture, the boy's father is surprised to find that his son is missing and calls Don Prem, who is in hiding
